On Thursday, March 20, at 6:00 p.m., Yeseña Cristina Haro will present her book ‘Break free, reborn and thrive’, a courageous tale of resilience and overcoming mistreatment. The Estepona City Council announced that the event will be held at the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Hall of Casa de Las Tejerinas. Published by Universo de Letras (Grupo Planeta), this work combines personal narrative with practical tools for individuals dealing with abuse. The author shares her survival journey through gender violence, emphasizing the potential for liberation and new beginnings even in the darkest times. More than a memoir, the book serves as a source of hope and strength, offering steps to recognize abuse, break harmful cycles, and create a life free from violence. Yeseña Cristina Haro, born in 1991 in Ecuador, faced hardships from a young age. After migrating to Spain at 17, she experienced abuse but emerged stronger. Today, she supports women affected by gender violence, particularly immigrants, and continues her efforts to provide assistance.
