Enrollment Period Announced for Municipal Nursery Schools in Estepona for the Next School Year

From April 1 to 30, inclusive, applications for new admissions of children aged 16 weeks to 3 years will be accepted. A new feature is that the socio-educational care service will be free for all two-year-old schoolchildren in Andalusia. The Estepona City Council has announced that the admission process for the First Cycle of Early Childhood Education in the Municipal Nursery Schools El Nido, El Mar, Los Pitufos, Calancha, and Cancelada for children aged 0 to 3 years for the 2025/26 academic year will start on April 1st. For the upcoming academic year, a total of 377 places will be offered, with 43 for children under 1 year old, 129 for 1 year olds, and 205 for 2 year olds. Interested families with children born in 2025, 2024, and 2023 can submit their applications. Applications can be downloaded from the specified website or picked up at the Town Hall. The deadline for new admissions is April 30. The Municipal Nursery Schools provide socio-educational care from 07.30 to 17.00, offering morning classes and lunchroom service. Families can also apply for aid for service subsidies. The schools conduct various projects throughout the year, including the ‘School for Families’ activity and English language classes. The City Council provides a psychological consultation service for parents and helps identify any developmental issues in children.
