The period for submitting nominations will be open from April 1 to May 2, 2025. The selection of the Cortejo is scheduled for May 31 at the Botanical Orchid Park. The Estepona City Council has informed that the deadline for submitting nominations for the Queens and Ladies of the Fair and Festivals 2025 will start on April 1. The event is set to take place from July 1 to 6 this year. Candidates must be residents of Estepona and provide a copy of their ID card for the Youth category, along with a contact number. Minors without an ID can present a copy of the Family Book registration and a signed authorization from both parents or legal guardians, which can be obtained at the municipal Electronic Headquarters. The competition includes two categories: Children, open to girls aged 7 to 11; and Youth, for individuals between 17 and 23 years old. Previous winners in the same category or those selected as queens or ladies of other festivals in Estepona during the current year, such as the Festivities of San Isidro Labrador or the Virgen del Carmen, are not eligible to participate. The Festivities Councillor, Macarena Diánez, has revealed that the selection and crowning of the Fair and Festivities procession, consisting of a Queen and four ladies in each category, will take place on Saturday, May 31, at 21:00 at the Botanical Park Orquidario. Children contestants will be chosen through a lottery. Applications must be submitted at the City Hall’s Register of Entry between April 1 and May 2, 2025. For further details, interested individuals can refer to the City Council’s Notice Board on the municipal website www.estepona.es, or contact the Festivals delegation at 952809000 (Ext. 1405) from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 14:00.
