The training center is being equipped with high-quality instruments to meet the professional standards that students will face in their future careers. Estepona City Council has purchased new musical instruments for the Music Conservatory at Mirador del Carmen, including a grand piano, two upright pianos, and various accessories. The tender for the supply, transport, and tuning of the pianos and accessories was recently opened and awarded to Royal Pianos. The instruments, including a concert grand piano and two upright pianos of different sizes, have already arrived at the conservatory. Accessories like covers, concert benches, studio benches, wheels, and a piano pedal lifter have also been acquired. This initiative follows previous purchases of music stands, stools, clarinets, saxophones, and guitars to ensure that students have access to quality instruments necessary for their professional development. The Music Conservatory, which opened this year, currently has 48 students enrolled in elementary music courses, including piano, guitar, clarinet, and saxophone. The establishment of the conservatory fulfills a long-standing need in the city, eliminating the need for students to travel to neighboring towns for formal music education. This achievement is the result of collaboration between Estepona City Council and the Andalusian Government’s Department of Educational Development and Vocational Training.
