Alongside director Miguel Ángel Garrido Sánchez, pianist Brigitta Kovács, and international baritone David Geary, the program includes Geary’s own composition ‘Benedictus’. Access to the auditorium is free until full capacity is reached. The Magnum Mysterium Choir, originally founded as ‘Villa de Estepona’ in 1987, has been active in Estepona for over 30 years. It started as a Chamber Choir dedicated to classical polyphony and has since expanded its repertoire to include various musical styles and genres. In 1992, the Choir became a non-profit Cultural Association with the goal of promoting quality polyphonic choral music. Director Miguel Ángel Garrido Sánchez, a professor emeritus at the Manuel Carra Professional Conservatory in Malaga, leads the Choir and continues to uphold its high musical standards.
